Oh man y’all… when I tell you, that it is a complete honor to bless the fresh stage, I am NOT kidding at ALL!

The big homie DJ Bee asked myself, Godchild the Omen, and Billy Mercury to come out and perform for a yearly event that Fresh Radio has, called Fresh for the Soul.

Now, if you’re not familiar with DJ Bee and all of his work that he has put in, then I behoove you to mozy on over to this link right now. I think it’s safe to say that everyone in the 757 looks up to him. If you mention his name in a sentence, it will be followed with “he’s the best!”

I have been blessed to perform on the fresh stage a total of 3 times. Each time I get more nervous (lol) and more hyped about my growth as a performer. It’s a huge deal to me when people I look up to, ask me to perform at their events. Especially for crowds that aren’t there to hear poetry. So again, big ups to the Fresh Radio familia! All the freshians, all the people who shared this video on Facebook, and all the people who have supported me throughout the years of this Spoken Word journey.

2016 was incredible for opportunity, and I’m still very thankful for everything I got to experience. Good and bad.
